Sony FE 50–150 mm F2 GM Lens
The Sony FE 50–150 mm F2 GM is a groundbreaking telephoto zoom lens in the G Master line — the world’s first F2 telephoto zoom reaching up to 150 mm. Its constant f/2 aperture gives you excellent low-light performance, beautiful subject isolation, and rich background compression — all in a single zoom. With two precision XA (extreme aspherical) elements, Super ED and ED glass elements, and Nano AR Coating II, the optical design delivers high resolution and minimal chromatic aberration. The lens uses an internal zoom design, keeping its length constant while zooming, which ensures excellent balance and makes handheld shooting much more manageable. Autofocus is driven by four XD (extreme dynamic) linear motors, delivering fast, precise, and quiet focusing ideal for both stills and video.
For video creators, the lens offers Linear Response MF, reduced focus breathing, and a smooth aperture ring (with click ON/OFF) plus lock switch. There are also three focus-hold buttons, a DMF switch, and a removable tripod foot for flexibility. Despite its bright aperture, it’s reasonably lightweight for a telephoto — 1,340 g. The design is also rugged, with dust and moisture resistance, and the front element has a fluorine coating for easier cleaning.
