The Sigma 28-45 mm F1.8 DG DN | Art is a full-frame mirrorless zoom lens, available for Sony E-mount and Leica L-mount systems. It features a groundbreaking constant f/1.8 aperture across the 28-45 mm zoom range — making it the world’s first full-frame zoom lens to offer f/1.8 throughout.
The optical construction includes 18 elements in 15 groups (with 5 SLD and 3 aspherical elements) designed to deliver prime-like image quality across the zoom range.
It offers a constant minimum focusing distance of 30 cm and a maximum magnification of 1:4 at 45 mm, allowing for close-up framing.
Additionally, it features an internal-zoom design (the barrel length remains constant), dust- and splash-resistant body, oil & water-repellent front coating, aperture ring with click/de-click control, two AFL buttons, and a high-response linear actuator (HLA) autofocus motor — making it well suited for both photography and video.
