Samyang MF 24mm T1.5 VDSLR MK2 Lens

The Samyang 24mm T1.5 VDSLR MK2 is a high-quality cine-style manual-focus prime lens designed for full-frame coverage and optimized for motion-picture use. It features a bright T/1.5 (approx f/1.4 equivalent) aperture for very shallow depth of field and efficient low-light capture. The optical construction comprises 13 elements in 12 groups.

The lens offers full-frame coverage (84.1° diagonal on full frame) as well as compatibility with Super 35, APS-C and MFT sensor sizes. The mount versions now include weather-sealing (except Nikon F version) and feature geared focus and aperture rings, de-clicked iris, double-side scales for focus and T-stop, and standard gear positions for follow-focus compatibility.

It’s designed for filmmakers and photo-hybrid shooters who want the cinematic look of a fast lens with manual control and functional gear rings. Despite the cine-level build, it remains reasonably compact for its class.
